Most of a life goes unwritten.
We keep the big things, the graduation photo, the wedding date, the new job. We lose almost everything in between: the ordinary Tuesdays, the song that got you through, the people who quietly shaped you. Those are the parts most worth keeping. They are also the first to fade.
Doris writes them down for you. It uses only the sources you allow and weaves grounded moments into chapters you can read, edit, and pass on. A morning walk becomes a scene. Music can become part of the setting, never a verdict on your mood. Your own reflections preserve what the day meant to you.

Why Doris
Doris is named after my mother.
I have one photograph of her in her Air Force uniform at seventeen years old. She left home, crossed the country, and built a life defined by service, resilience, and determination. She became a mother, college graduate, mechanic, chef, and community leader.
What I inherited were the milestones of her life. What I lost was everything in between.
I don’t know what music gave her strength, who she leaned on during difficult times, or what she felt as she navigated life’s biggest moments. Those memories disappeared with time. That’s why I built Doris.
Private by design
Privacy is not a setting you switch on.
It is how Doris is built. You are handing over the most personal record you have. Here is exactly what that means.
Yours alone
Your memoir is private by default. There is no public feed and no social network. Only you can read it, unless you decide otherwise.
Never trained on
Your data is encrypted, never sold, and never used to train public AI models. Your life is not a dataset.
No continuous route
Raw visit coordinates stay on your iPhone for up to 14 days. Doris never uploads a continuous route; a settled or confirmed place used in your journal may sync privately to your account.
You choose the sources
Every connection is consent based. Enable what you like, disconnect any source at any time, and change your mind whenever.
Edit or delete anything
Every chapter is yours to refine, rewrite, or remove. Correct a fact, change a word, or delete what you would rather not keep.
Never locked in
Export your chapters whenever you want and keep, print, or pass them down however you wish.
